Grounding, Earthing on Inflammation, Immune Response Study

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
Grounding / Immune Response
 ___________________________________
The effects of grounding (earthing) on inflammation, the immune response, wound healing, and prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases
Multi-disciplinary research has revealed that electrically conductive contact of the human body with the surface of the Earth (grounding or earthing) produces intriguing effects on physiology and health. Such effects relate to inflammation, immune responses, wound healing, and prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The purpose of this report is two-fold: to 1) inform researchers about what appears to be a new perspective to the study of inflammation, and 2) alert researchers that the length of time and degree (resistance to ground) of grounding of experimental animals is an important but usually overlooked factor that can influence outcomes of studies of inflammation, wound healing, and tumorigenesis. Specifically, grounding an organism produces measurable differences in the concentrations of white blood cells, cytokines, and other molecules involved in the inflammatory response. We present several hypotheses to explain observed effects, based on current research results and our understanding of the electronic aspects of cell and tissue physiology, cell biology, biophysics, and biochemistry. An experimental injury to muscles, known as delayed onset muscle soreness, has been used to monitor the immune response under grounded versus ungrounded conditions. Grounding reduces pain and alters the numbers of circulating neutrophils and lymphocytes, and also affects various circulating chemical factors related to inflammation.

T'was the Night Before Climate Change

T'was the night before Climate Change and all throughout the globe
not a creature was stirring, no one was in their caps or gowns for bed,
mammals, reptiles, and humans alike did not make a sound:
because the genetically modified mosquitoes killed them all.

As animals and humans lie dead in their tracks,
all the machinery that kept their lives livable
ran undeterred with lots of carbon emissions
and would run forever thanks to their solar panels.

The rise of the machines! Artificial Intelligence
would keep the world running as all the green house
gases spewed into the atmosphere like smog.
No person was there to halt the environmental carnage.

But the Earth lived on. She did not miss a solstice
or equinox. She did not understand why she had
more oxygen than carbon dioxide in the air.
Animals and people were not around to balance the equation.

So the plants began to die. The trees wilted and fell over.
None of the flowers were left to bloom. Without the mammals,
reptiles, and humans, oxygen overwhelmed the planet.
Earth suffocated as the machines began to rust.

No humans were around to keep the machines running.
Soon the utopia of zero carbon emissions took hold.
Earth's nitrogen rich atmosphere changed without the addition
of the small carbon atom that kept the world in sync.

A thousand years without the carbon makers and the Earth
turned into a huge rock with dried up oceans, compromised
atmosphere, and a dying magnetic field. Without the carbon makers,
Earth's heart bled and her spirit broke.

Alone in space with nowhere to turn, Earth became like
Venus and Mars: unmanageable, uninhabitable, and barren.
T'was the night before Climate Change and all through the lands,
Earth hoped the polluters would live as her life force demands.

Maybe we should stop the damage done by Climate Change Advocates and Alarmists before it is too late to save our Mother Earth.

When Will the FCC Investigate News Stations and Their Reporters?

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
Journalism / Social Justice
____________________________________

Americans are barraged by news media that does not cater to factual information but rather pushes ideologies, political parties' agendas, and advertisements hidden as "consumer news."

Above all this noise are political hate speech, racists attacks against Americans and Veterans as well as produced segments to raise money for illegal aliens and their families. What is more concerning than those real problems on the evening news is the fact that some mainstream media are now inciting violence from small minority communities.

If you have seen these illustrations of social justice warriors masquerading as journalists and media outlets, please file a complaint with the FCC.

Here is information concerning filing a complaint at the FCC Consumer Complaint Center

After you have read the instructions, then you can file Your FCC Complaint

The airwaves belong to the People of the United States. Media must register in order to use our airwaves for the public good. When mainstream media moves away from information and education to training and deception, it is time for the American people to take back their news.
  • Have a news station catering to Mexican Nationalism and racial hatred of Americans through Aztlan Mythology? File a complaint.
  • Have a news station that promotes corporations as news instead of explaining they are paid to endorse certain commercial products?  File a complaint.
  • Have a news station pushing Gender Ideology, which promotes pedophilia?  File a complaint.
  • Have a news station interviewing and raising money for illegal aliens?  File a complaint.
  • Have a news station creating a climate of violence against Americans by pushing racially motivated hate crimes like the removal of US War Memorials?  File a complaint.
  • Have a news station falsely reporting about Global Warming and Climate Change being real?  File a complaint.
Americans can turn around the information war being used against them. All Americans have to do is file every single time a news outlet lies, lies, lies. Which should not be too difficult, although often.

Take back the airwaves and take back our national discourse.

Solar Grand Minimum Makes Paris Accords Look Foolish

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
Paris Accords / Climate Change
_________________________________

As mayors and governors lament over the United States pull out of the Paris Climate Accords, actual scientists have been at work.

United Nations' treaties, accords, and what have you are about politics and social engineering, none of those agreements are based on actual science. If they were, people would come to realize that the sun creates weather and our sun is headed toward a Solar Grand Minimum.

No Global Warming. No Climate Change... just a regularly scheduled break in solar activity that will lead us into a mini ice age like what was seen during the Maunder Minimum:
The Maunder minimum is the name given to a period of extreme solar inactivity that occurred between 1645 and 1710. Of particular interest is that this period of inactivity corresponds closely to one of the coldest periods of the so-called "Little Ice Age" in Europe, a time of long, cold winters that caused severe hardships in the pre-industrial revolution world. This has led scientists to extensively study the possible influences of solar activity on terrestrial climate, as well as examine other stars for evidence of activity cycle behavior similar to the Sun's.
We are headed there now:

Even if you cannot read the science, you can very well understand the pictures.

Climate change connected to Global Warming is fake news. Made up by politicians and debunked by real science.

Maybe mayors and governors should start listening to the smart people instead of being sheep.

Correlation Analysis for Total Electron Content Anomalies

Staff Writer, Nathaniel Diaz

____________________________________

1. Introduction
Ionosphere is a shell of a large amount of electrons and it is disturbed by various causes such as volcanic eruptions [Heki, 2006;Dautermann et al., 2009], solar flares [Donnelly, 1976], earthquakes [ Cahyadi and Heki, 2015], and so on. Analyzing Total Electron Content (TEC) data is one of the most popular method to monitor the ionosphere. TEC data contains the number of electrons integrated along the line of sight between the GNSS satellites and the observation stations on the ground. Japan has a dense GNSS observation network (the GNSS earth observation network, GEONET) to collect daily TEC.

At the EU2015 conference this past June, the well known “skeptic” Michael Shermer participated in a panel discussion on the topic, "When Radical Ideas Challenge Conventional Science." Wal Thornhill and Dave Talbott also participated, along with Dr. Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona. Subsequently, Dr. Shermer’s dismissive review of the conference appeared in Scientific American, October 2015. But now Dr. Shermer’s review itself is the subject of critical analysis, including comments from Dr. Donald Scott and mathematician Stephen Crothers. You can be certain that others will add to the discussion in coming weeks.

Urban Heat Islands

Staff Writer, Nathaniel Diaz
Weather / Thermal Imaging
___________________________________

When weather forecasters mention your city's heat island, do you just get the idea of one locale? Here is what those Urban Heat Islands look like:

The urban heat island effect occurs primarily during the day, when urban impervious surfaces absorb more sunlight than the surrounding vegetated areas. Trees, grasses, and other vegetation naturally cool the air as a by-product of photosynthesis. They release water back into to the atmosphere in a process called evapotranspiration, which cools the local surface temperature in much the same way that sweat cools a person’s skin as it evaporates. Trees with broad leaves, like those found in many deciduous forests on the U.S. East Coast, have more pores to exchange water than trees with needles, and so have more of a cooling effect.

Rain Dispersal, Elections, and GeoEngineering

Staff Writer, Nicole Meyer-Greene
Weather Modification / Elections
__________________________________

With elections for the City of Phoenix slated for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th, a curious situation happened: the rain was postponed. As weather forecasters predicted rain Monday night but mostly into early Tuesday morning and afternoon, all of a sudden, that prediction was put on hold.

Where did the rain go?

After days of blue skies, the lines returned. Coincidence?

And who is paying for these expensive toxic weather modification days? The City of Phoenix, which is already in financial debt? The State of Arizona, ditto? Or the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who have plenty of budgeted funds thanks to policy papers like PNAC, or it's new name the Foreign Policy Initiative?

Tomorrow's Propositions are full of United Nation's funding for Climate Change policies that are destructive to Americans, the environment, and government budgets.

One thing is certain: GeoEngineering is making a mess of our skies, ozone layer, and weather.

Don't let GeoEngineering make a mess of Phoenix more than it already has.

Leukotoxin Diols from Ground Corncob Bedding Disrupt Estrous Cyclicity in Rats and Stimulate MCF-7 Breast Cancer Cell Proliferation

Staff Writer, J.J. West
GMOs / Scientific Study
_____________________________________

Previous studies in our laboratory demonstrated that high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis of ground corncob bedding extracts characterized two components (peak I and peak II) that disrupted endocrine function in male and female rats and stimulated breast and prostate cancer cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo. The active substances in peak I were identified as an isomeric mixture of 9,12-oxy-10,13-dihydroxyoctadecanoic acid and 10,13-oxy-9,12-dihydroxyoctadecanoic acid, collectively designated tetrahydrofurandiols (THF-diols). Studies presented here describe the purification and identification of the HPLC peak II component as 9,10-dihydroxy-12-octadecenoic acid (leukotoxin diol; LTX-diol), a well-known leukotoxin. A synthetic mixture of LTX-diol and 12,13-dihydroxy-9-octadecenoic acid (isoleukotoxin diol; i-LTX-diol) isomers was separated by HPLC, and each isomer stimulated (p < 0.001) MCF-7 cell proliferation in an equivalent fashion. The LTX-diol isomers failed to compete for [3H]estradiol binding to the estrogen receptor or nuclear type II sites, even though oral administration of very low doses of these compounds (>> 0.8 mg/kg body weight/day) disrupted estrous cyclicity in female rats. The LTX-diols did not disrupt male sexual behavior, suggesting that sex differences exist in response to these endocrine-disruptive agents.

A novel endocrine-disrupting agent in corn with mitogenic activity in human breast and prostatic cancer cells

Staff Writer, J.J. West
GMOs / Scientific Study
_____________________________________

Housing adult rats on ground corncob bedding impedes male and female mating behavior and causes acyclicity in females. The suppressive effects on ovarian cyclicity are mimicked by a mitogenic agent purified from the ground corncob bedding material (corn mitogen; CM), which stimulates the proliferation of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive (MCF-7 cells) and ER-negative (MDA-MD-231 cells) breast cancer cells. Purified CM does not compete for [(3)H]estradiol binding to ER or nuclear type II sites, and its effects on MCF-7 breast cancer cell proliferation are not blocked by the antiestrogen ICI-182,780. These results suggest that the active component is unlikely to be a phytoestrogen, bioflavonoid, mycotoxin, or other known endocrine-disrupting agent that modifies cell growth via ER or type II [(3)H]estradiol binding sites. CM also stimulates the proliferation of PC-3 human prostatic cancer cells in vitro, and the growth rate of PC-3 cell xenografts is accelerated in nude male mice housed on ground corncob as opposed to pure cellulose bedding. Consequently, this endocrine-disrupting agent in ground corncob bedding may influence behavioral and physiologic reproductive response profiles and malignant cell proliferation in experimental animals. Fresh corn (kernels and cob) or corn tortillas also contain CM, indicating that human exposure is likely; consequently, CM and/or related mitogens in corn products may influence human health and development.

Biological effects of transgenic maize NK603xMON810 fed in long term reproduction studies in mice

Staff Writer, J.J. West
GMOs / Scientific Study
___________________________________

The aim of the study was to examine effects of the stacked GM crop NK603 x MON810 in different models of long term feeding studies. So far no negative effects of GM corn varieties have been reported in peer-reviewed publications. But the hypothesis, that effects after long term exposure might become evident in multi-generation studies has rarely been investigated. In this study three designs were used, including a multi-generation study (MGS), a reproductive assessment by continuous breeding (RACB) and a life-term feeding study (LTS), all performed with laboratory mice (strain OF1). The test diets differed only as to the inclusion of 33% NK603 x MON810 corn (GM) versus non-GM corn of a near isogenic line (ISO), both grown under identical conditions in Canada. The MGS also included one group with a non GM corn cultivated in Austria (A REF). All corn varieties used in the MGS and LTS were harvested in 2005, the transgenic and isogenic corn for the RACB were harvested in Canada in 2007. No Austrian corn was used in this case. In the MGS microscopic and ultrastructural investigations were performed to detect changes at the organ and cell level. Gene expression patterns were compared by micro array expression profiles of the intestine as feed-animal interface and by real time PCR. The results of the MGS showed no statistically significant differences concerning parental body mass. The number of females without litters decreased with time in the GM and ISO group, especially in the 4th generation. In the group fed with A REF corn fewer females were without litters, and accordingly more pups were weaned. The production parameters average litter size and weight as well as number of weaned pups were in favour of the ISO group. These differences were also seen in the RACB design and were statistically significant in the 3rd and 4th litters. In addition, the inter-individual variability was higher in the GM group as compared to the other groups. The LTS showed no statistically significant differences in the survival of 3 groups of mice fed the different maize varieties. In the MGS the continuative investigations revealed differences between the GM and ISO groups. The comparison of organ weights did not indicate directed dietary effects, except for kidneys. The electron histological investigation of the cell nuclei revealed differences as to fibrillar centres, dense fibrillar components and the pore density in hepatocytes. This could point to an effect of the GM crop on metabolic parameters. Immunohistochemistry revealed no systematic differences in CD3, CD20 positive cells and macrophages in gut tissue. The microarrays showed differences between the feeding groups. When the data of both non-GM feeding groups from MGS were combined and compared to the GM feeding group, the discrimination became more evident. Analyses of metabolic pathways indicated, that the groups differed regarding some important pathways, including interleukin signalling pathway, cholesterol biosynthesis and protein metabolism. Summarizing the findings of this study it can be concluded, that multi-generation studies, especially based on the RACB design are well suited to reveal differences between feeds. The RACB trial showed time related negative reproductive effects of the GM maize under the given experimental conditions. The RACB trial with its specific design with the repeated use of the parental generation is a demanding biological factor for the maternal organism. Compared to the findings in the RACB trials it can be assumed that the physiological stress was considerably lower in the MGS trial. The trial design of using “new” parental generations instead of continuous breeding with the same generation has to be considered as being obviously less demanding. This might have masked the impact of dietary Biological effects of transgenic maize NK603xMON810 fed in long term reproduction studies in mice factors on reproductive performance. However, this part of the experiment is valuable as such because it underlines the need for different experimental designs for the assessment of dietary effects that have an unknown impact on animals. The outcome of this study suggests that future studies on the safety of GM feed and food should include reproduction studies. Physiological and genomic traits and depending on the nature of the genetic modification proteomic and metabolomic methods might be taken into consideration as additional tools to the tests performed in this study.

Addressing the issue of horizontal gene transfer from a diet containing genetically modified components into rat tissues

Staff Writer, J.J. West
GMOs / Scientific Study
___________________________________

Genetically modified (GM) food crops are considered to have the potential of providing food security especially in developing countries. Scientists have raised concern over the hazards associated with the consumption of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). One of these hazards, which have great controversy reports, is the possible horizontal gene transfer from GM-food or feed to human or animal tissues. Many researches were conducted to investigate the presence of some transgenic sequences in animal tissues fed on GM- crops. Many of the inserted genes in the GM-crops are under the control of the promoter of the Cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMVP35S) and produce insecticidal proteins. Health hazards are suggested to accompany the ingestion of this promoter. CaMVP35S can function in a wide range of organisms (plants and animals). It has also been demonstrated that the CaMV-P35S promoter sequence can convert an adjacent tissue- and organ-specific gene promoter into a globally active promoter. The present work was conducted to evaluate the possibility of horizontal gene transfer from a diet containing DNA segments from Cauliflower mosaic virus -35S promoter (CaMVP-35S) to the cells of different organs of rats fed for three months on diets containing genetically modified components. Analysis of the results revealed that: 1) ingested fragments from the CaMV-35S promoter incorporated into blood, liver, and brain tissues of experimental rats, 2) The total mean of transfer of GM target sequences increased significantly by increasing the feeding durations, and 3) The affinity of different transgenic fragments from the ingested GM-diet, to be incorporated into the different tissues of rats varied from one target sequence to the other.
