Movie Night: Global Warming or Global Governance?

Staff Writer, Nicole Meyer-Greene

If you were to ask ten people on the street if mankind was causing global warming, at least eight out of ten would say yes. After all, Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth allegedly provides incontrovertible evidence that this is the case. Both presidential candidates are committed to passing economically devastating legislation that will do little to nothing to stop global warming. Contrary to what is heard in the media, however, there is overwhelming evidence that the warming we are experiencing is natural, with maybe a small amount contributed by man's activities. Nor is there any scientific consensus. 31,000 scientists have signed a petition stating there is "no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide is causing...catastrophic" warming. The debate is still raging within the scientific community. In this DVD, Sovereignty International has put together interviews of respected climate scientists and biologists from numerous sources who explain, step by step, why Al Gore and the global warming alarmists are incorrect. In some cases, blatantly so.

The DVD also provides evidence that the global warming agenda is being funded with tens of billions of dollars as a mechanism to create global governance.Hear from congressmen, experts and even well-known news broadcasters how global governance puts global institutions, especially the United Nations (UN), that are not accountable to the American people in control of every aspect of our economy. The skyrocketing gas and food prices today are a direct result of this agenda.

Yesterday the Phoenix City Council voted to destroy the historic community of Villa de Paz for greed.

Here is how the council members voted:
Daniel Valenzuela - Yes
Sal DiCiccio - Yes
Greg Stanton - Yes
Jim Waring - Yes
Laura Pastor - Yes
Kate
Gallego - Yes
Thelda Williams - Yes
Bill Gates - Yes
Michael Nowakowski - No
Any council member who voted against the best interests of our neighborhood and endangered species needs to be recalled.  Neighbors are now collaborating and seeking the paperwork to make this a reality.

Villa de Paz would like to make this a city-wide campaign to recall the City of Phoenix's Mayor and City Council for ethics and law violations.

If you are interested in a campaign of your own, please start with obtaining the Recall Petition and paperwork at City Hall.

Thank you for all the support.

Loss of Property Rights Across the Nation Begins Locally

Agenda 21 / Sovereignty Issues

Agenda 21 and its Sustainability nonsense have been plaguing Americans and people around the world for a good part of two and a half decades.

Arizona is no different. Denial from politicians has led most voters to not know or understand what initiatives they have voted into law. Light rail. Green. Smart. Reimaging. All marketing terms for the same thing: treason.

Under Agenda 21, Smart Growth, Redevelopment, your state, county, and city can impose fees and restrictions on your property without due process of law. Don't believe that in America communist ideals are being implemented?

Enter Santa Cruz, California:

The Bureau of Land Management  or BLM is harassing and fining people off their land.
The BLM also steals wild horses and sells them for slaughter.
Even in Arizona, our iconic wild horses are being disappeared.
It is a concerted effort from every front because of Agenda 21, we have a nation full of rogue agencies, politicians and regional boards. So if you have not guessed: you have lost your sovereignty. You have no vote with agencies or regional boards, and bought off politicians deny Agenda 21 exists while helping with its implementation.

Don't you think it is time to stop the implementation of Agenda 21?

Phoenix Voting: If You Don't Know, Vote: NO

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
Voting / City of Phoenix / Opinion
___________________________________

With the summer voting season upon us, Phoenix City residents are being asked to vote on measures they know little to noting about. Our advice: if you don't know, Vote: NO!

The VDP Gazette over the years has made it our mission to inform residents about Agenda 21 and other underhanded schemes imposed on us by our Mayor and City Council members. Take for instance, Proposition 100. That seems innocuous enough. Vote on the City of Phoenix's general plan.

Have you seen the General Plan? Were you ever notified about changing the General Plan? I have not. I have not heard one word about how the City of Phoenix planners would like to waste money on Urban high rise lifestyles, lightrail, or "sustainability."

Do not get us started on Proposition 104, the $31 Billion tax revenue scheme to pay for light rail!

City of Phoenix workers are still on furloughs. Employees are not even making their own base salary, but we can waste money on trains that go nowhere.

As some residents have pointed out, we have a deficit in the number of police officers for the safety of our streets.

Didn't Phoenix just shut down a school because of financial problems?

So no school, no police, no employee full time work hours, but we can pass U.N. climate policies to degrade our streets, living standards, and housing developments.

Sounds like our Mayor and City Council members need to focus on Phoenix first or be voted out of office. What do you think?

So if you come to a Proposition and are not sure what to do: Vote: NO. Phoenix cannot afford to follow other cities into debt and poverty over politically motivated money schemes for U.N. officials.

Thank you.

Survey Says: American Planning Association Wants to Squash Concerns Over Agenda 21 with Ignorance

Nothing to see here. That is what the American Planning Association (APA) would like you to believe. This organization is all about selling people, planners, and elected officials on the values and benefits of Communitarianism.

These people want to shut down free thought and free expression.

It is nice how their propaganda machine creates the powerpoint presentation so we can review just how corrupt the system is:

How the APA Feels About Your Concerns
At the end of the day, it is so much more fun to make light of the real threat of the UN's Agenda 21 on rights, property rights, and our national security than to stand up against the unprofessional, improper, and idiotic re-planning of the entire world's infrastructure called Sustainability.

If you would like to know the facts and realities of Sustainability and not just be fed propaganda, read Henry Lamb's Sustainable Development; Transforming America

While you are educating yourself on the realities of Agenda 21 and its results for the world, here are some more links for your perusal:

Agenda 21 - pdf of the actual UN document
Wildways  - how Americans are being shoved off their land
Complete Streets - the UN wants to take away your automobile
America 2050: MegaRegions - so Americans can live like trapped rats

and more Source Documents.

It is easy to manipulate and deceive others when voters and private property owners are ignorant of the real agenda.

Let the City of Phoenix know it is time to forgo the fad called Sustainability that wastes valuable time and taxpayer money:

Who Funds the Unsustainable Sustainable Development Movement with Your Tax Dollars?

Staff Writer, Nicole Meyer-Greene
Sustainability / Government Corruption
____________________________________

Agenda 21 named in Congress and Congress supporting the ideals of the United Nations in lieu of the Constitution and Bill of Rights is shown in their own words in the video from CSPAN, above.

Sustainability, Smart Growth all great marketing terms for scams. Here is an information article done by the Post Sustainability Institute about the corruption in your state and home town you are not aware of, brought to you by corporations and the United Nations:
Growg Smart Legislative Guidebook Model Statues for Planning and the Management of Change was funded by a grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (the lead federal agency); Federal Highway Administration (US Department of Transportation); US Environmental Protection Agency; the Federal Transit Administration (DOT); the Rural Economic and Community Development Administration (US Department of Agriculture). All of these agencies were members of the President's Council on Sustainable Development which ran from 1993-1999.

Private funders included the Siemens Corporation; Henry M. Jackson Foundation; Annie E. Casey Foundation; and the American Planning Association. These private organizations promote smart growth.

Siemens, for instance, benefits from the development of the 'smart grid' and is a key private for-profit corporation for solar, biomass, and other subsidized power generation. This huge multi-national corporation is involved in health care, building systems, financing, communications and more. Siemens is a German company that was nearly bankrupt until Hitler supplied free slave labor and money for technological development. Siemens USA has revenue of over $20 Billion. They also just appointed Michael Kruklinski Head of Siemens Real Estate for the Americas. In this role he'll oversee all operations for Siemens Real Estate in the U.S. He also is on the NEW YORK CITY REGIONAL PLAN ASSOCIATION BOARD. http://www.usa.siemens.com/answers/en/
The Henry M. Jackson Foundation is a major grant funder. Their involvement on an international scale is detailed here:
The Foundation seeks to leverage its influence and effectiveness by convening and participating actively in groups of like-minded funders to discuss topics of mutual interest. Examples of funder partners or networks follow:
International Human Rights Funders Group
The Jackson Foundation is a founding member and former steering committee member of the International Human Rights Funders Group (IHRFG), an association of grantmakers dedicated to supporting efforts to protect human rights on both national and international scales. Members meet at least twice yearly to discuss issues of common concern in human rights philanthropy and reach out to potential funders to attract greater dollars to the human rights field. IHRFG also seeks to inform public policy on a national level. (text in italics is directly from the Jackson Foundation website)

The Funders' Network for Smart Growth
The Jackson Foundation is a founding member of the Funders' Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities, a coalition that seeks to strengthen and expand philanthropic leadership and grantmaking that improves communities through better development decisions and growth policies. It brings together foundations, nonprofit organizations and other partners to address a range of environmental, social, and economic problems. (Text in italics is from The Funders' Network for Smart Growth website)

The Funders Network membership list is vast. Annie E. Casey Foundation is just one of many members. Read the membership list here: http://www.fundersnetwork.org/connect

We suggest that you look carefully at the members of the Funders' Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities to see where the UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development money trail leads. Money and power flow back and forth along these channels. Enterprise Community Development and LISC, for example, are on the list. They are for-profit affordable housing developers who benefit hugely from subsidies in smart growth and redevelopment (urban renewal) zones. Wal-Mart is a partner. The Orton Family Foundation is a partner. You'll find over 100 foundations and corporations on the list. Take a look. and look at this too, as an example of who funds the Smart Growth conferences.

On the issue of devaluation of property through regulatory means, we find it reprehensible that counties and cities recognize that development rights have value when they're being purchased in conservation easements, but they have no value when they're being taken away through regulations. You won't find many General or Comprehensive Plans that don't embed sustainable communities strategies in their elements. Most states require it by law through their legislation. These policies fund and support UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.

More and more non-profit organizations are being created, fragmenting from others, spinning off and creating more non-profits. Funding comes from state and federal grants, from your taxes and fees, private grants, donations (tax write-offs), and from lawsuits. You'll find the League of Women Voters advocating for Smart Growth. The Lung Association lobbies for Smart Growth. The National Association of Realtors advocates for Smart Growth. The Chamber of Commerce does too. So does the AFL-CIO. Are your dues or professional fees paying for UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development. Are you volunteering for a group supporting UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development?
And who builds the Light Rail? Siemens... no conflict of interest there, is there?

The article goes on to name more names as to the individuals and groups who are perpetuating this scam on the American taxpayer.

Isn't it about time you researched the scam that is Sustainable Development?

Reimaging Arizona: How False Promises of America 2050 are Defacing Our State

Staff Writer, Nicole Meyer-Greene
Megaregions / Sustainability
_________________________________

Phoenix, Arizona is an unlikely place to force Agenda 21 on, but it is happening. False promises of sustainability are leading the state capitol and many other cities around it into a megaregion of people without the resources necessary to sustain such a massive human island population.

City of Phoenix residents are mailed fliers and information monthly on how to cut back on water, power, and other necessities for those living in this arid climate. Is it for conservation? Or, is there some other machination at work?

Enter: Megaregions.

The United Nations (U.N.), ICLEI, and Sustainability/Reimaging (marketing terms) are reshaping the United States into an unrecognizable landscape of multiuse housing, infilling, and other terrible planning ideas through the use of unnecessary bicycle lane grants and horrendous rezoning practices known as Agenda 21 dogma disguised as "Sustainability."

Does Phoenix really need 20 million plus people in the Valley? Will cutting my trash waste, water consumption, or utility use really help create a better planet? Or, a futuristic wasteland in the Sonoran Desert?

The whole premise behind Agenda 21, Sustainability, and Reimaging cities and towns in the United Nations' own image is to save the planet from CO2. Carbon dioxide, what plants breathe in and animals breathe out, is the dragon to be slayed.

Wouldn't it be logical to begin a campaign to put solar on cars and houses immediately instead of painting and extending bike lanes? Wouldn't it be more feasible to plant more vegetation? Wouldn't any idea be better than creating Megaregions, attacking rural farmers/ranchers, and wasting tax payer money on a grand scale?

SOUNDS LIKE SCIENCE FICTION...OR SOME CONSPIRACY THEORY...BUT IT ISN'T. - See more at: http://www.democratsagainstunagenda21.com/#sthash.PGJhIKpQ.dpuf
It does not matter that Climate Change and Global Warming are not real. It's the suspicion something is happening to the world because of humans. Yep, the Earth is being polluted and poisoned by governments and corporations on a daily basis, yet a resident's water usage and trash waste is eyed as the culprit. Not to mention breathing, which is another fallacy, carbon dioxide is not the enemy. The enemy of the planet is the lack of common sense.

Perhaps instead of wasting tax payer money on refurbishing bike lanes and informational U.N. propaganda, the City of Phoenix should be finding ways to house the homeless, feed the starving masses, help the elderly and disabled, and create jobs with a living wage.

It's way more complicated than painting a bike lane, but positive economic growth and refusal of United Nations' grants will do more for the ecology in the long run than "social justice." How about regular justice? The City of Phoenix becomes a place where plants, animals, and people all live in balance and harmony, where the desert is protected but admired and used for positive purposes, where the land, air, and water are respected without the addition of chemicals, poisons, and genetically modified anything?

Or does the destruction of our natural and beautiful desert at the behest of the United Nations more important because of the "grants" of tax payer money?

Think about it. Common sense sounds better. People want to enjoy the Earth, free from government interference and corporate greed, don't you agree?

It is after all the People's resources.

Ancient Technique to Water Your Garden

Staff Writer, Nicole Meyer-Greene
Gardening / Sustainability
_____________________________________

In the hot Arizona sun, do you feel you are doing nothing but watering your plants day after day?

There may be a simple and economical solution to over watering your yard: clay pots. In the article, Clay Pot Irrigation - a simple adaptation of an ancient technique, gardeners are shown how to use clay pots to water their plants.
Get hold of an ordinary 25 cm (10 inch) terracotta pot. Plug the hole with a wine cork. Bury it almost up to its neck in the soil but not too deep so that soil falls into the pot. Fill it with water. Add a terracotta lid.

Plant seedlings or sow seeds 18 inches around the base of the pot. Water will slowly seep out through the clay wall of the pot, directly irrigating the soil around the pot. As the roots grow they will wrap themselves around the pot. The plants takes up almost all the water, and because the water source is now in the ground, evaporation is almost nil.

Keep the pot filled up and you will provide a steady source of irrigation when your plants need it.
It is that simple.

With the heat of the desert on the rise, gardeners can take comfort in knowing their plants are well cared for all afternoon long without the mess and time of using a hose.

(Make sure the pot is unglazed.)

____________________________________

The city of Cheyenne, Wyoming has the chance to stop Agenda 21, by opposing the 'PlanCheyenne' plans for the city. This is this second presentation by Stacy Lynne at a Cheyenne town hall meeting and momentum continues to build in her support. This is an unprecedented fight and fortunately the Mayor of Cheyenne, Rick Kaysen, appears in this town hall meeting to take questions from the public.

These plans are in every major city in the United States and across the world. It's not about sustainability. It's about creating a way to control people and their lives with the same buildings and grants that end up bankrupting communities instead of uplift them.

Phoenix, Avondale, Glendale, and other Arizona cities are among these plans that strip away people's property rights.

Why would anyone subscribe to this type of cookie cutter buildings and landscape?

The New Soviet Stasi: Sustainability So We Don't Have to Look at the Disabled

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
International News / Sustainability Hoax
_____________________________

Ich speche ein bissen Deutsch. (translation: I speak a little German.) I better, I studied the language for three years in high school. I have always wanted to visit Germany and put some of my skills to the test.

That dream has died when it comes to Hamburg.

As the article, Hamburg’s Plan to Eliminate Cars in 20 Years* (translated from the original German), states:
With this network, Hamburg will be following a trend, perhaps best exemplified by Copenhagen, of cities constructing cycle paths in order to linking outlying areas to city centers. And, importantly, the plan will make the car – currently the only transportation option to get from one part of the city to another – essentially unnecessary.
I guess Germany has not realized the Tom Foolery of Sustainability. For one, global warming and climate change are hoaxes perpetrated on the public to steal money for unsustainable projects out of the pockets of the middle and lower classes in order to bankrupt the economic system.

Oh, you haven't heard of that before? Read: Rosa Koire's book: Behind the Green Mask for starters. You'll understand how sustainability is a fraud.

And two, sustainability seems to be discriminating against the disabled. As a disabled person visiting Hamburg in 20 years, I could not move around the city. I cannot walk distances and I certainly cannot ride a bicycle. Because of my condition, I cannot ride public transportation. Someone needs to drive me places in a vehicle.

The years I spent dreaming of going to Germany and learning the language and culture appears to have been wasted.

If Germany continues down the path of discrimination against the disabled for a more sustainable Soviet Stasi State, then I guess I will have to ditch my English to German translation and learning books for a new dream that isn't filled with contempt for people like me.

Thanks, Hamburg!

The United Nations: Changing Your Attitude for a More Sustainable Future

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
Government / Education
___________________________________________

The new standards in the educational curriculum, which began decades ago and manifested in No Child Left Behind (NCLB) and Common Core, are changing history, facts, and the next generation's attitude about government, rights, and citizenship.

And as a parent, you are not going to like it.

Do you want to know the reason for the attacks on our freedoms, rights, and Constitution? Then look no further than the United Nations' (UNESCO) sustainability religious dogma. It's not just to destroy your city, state with unattainable redistribution standards with lies of social justice and climate change (i.e., global warming scam); it's to decimate the next generation's ability to see right from wrong.

The educational standards are brainwashing children into believing some horrendous ideas. To the United Nations, education is not about facts but persuading children to believe that facts are irrelevant to the collective. Global citizens need to be supple and pliant to the requirements of global interests, international law, and government control.

Say what?

The United States has become the battle ground against encroaching collectivist indoctrination. This cult believes that: government is in charge of you, your children, and your property. The United Nations model strips away any idea of individual thought or determination. The state controls where you will be in life in this post modern, post capitalist societal framework of do as we say and do as you are told.

Freedom of thought is now a thing of the past. Real critical thinking is an abomination. If you question the collective, then there must be something wrong with your attitude. Re-education, anyone? Because our educational system is full of propaganda from the United Nations at the blessing and drive of our government.

Why wouldn't a government push for the servitude of its people? This nation was built on the servitude of its government, but the United Nations seeks to reverse that trend by making the willful individualist equated with terrorism. Have you notice how many "lone wolves" it takes to undermine the Second Amendment? How EVERYONE must give up their guns because of one person's evil deed? It makes you think.

Just for starters, some will believe that people who question the hive mentality are conspiracy theorists instead of free thinkers. The attitude adjustment has been going on for years. So let the history lesson begin:

Go on, watch the video...

If you would like more information about how the educational system in the United States is being subverted, please read the free e-book: The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, which Charolette Thomas Iserbyt is referenced in the above presentation.

Even I was astonished at the misinformation and disinformation, I received in my K-12 education. See how well your education and that of your children's stacks up against United States of America's Founding Fathers' philosophy.

For more information about the curriculum, watch this video reviewing educational books for elementary school children and the tenets of Common Core: Education or Indoctrination?

The Lies to Pave Paradise With, Real Estate and Politics

Staff Writer, DL Mullan
ICLEI / Sustainability
_______________________________________

"They paved Paradise and put in a Parking Lot," Joni Mitchell, Amy Grant, and the Counting Crows have sang.

Why would anyone want to pave Paradise?

That is where sustainability comes in with its "infilling." Pretty soon the town or city you know will look like an urban wasteland. Or perhaps suburban wasteland is a more accurate phrase.

Where trees, grass, and wildlife used to flourish, asphalt, brick, and petrochemicals now reside. If sustainability is really about environmentalism and not a political tool for communistic regionalism, then wouldn't towns and cities do everything possible to cultivate green spaces?

Villa de Paz is the perfect balance between green and suburban.  Animals and humans live in harmony together. The community could not be more environmentally friendly.

Here we see a common sight during the spring on the golf course: a mother duck with her ducklings. Golfers still golf. Neighbors take pictures. Ducks are raised and sent into the world.

Natural coexistence is a beautiful thing to behold.

Villa de Paz does not need fancy brochures or website to sell their homes.

Realtors do not have a hard time marketing the already mature development with golf course access, beautiful trees, and wildlife galore.

One current listing on Hazelwood states: "Bring your serious buyers. Seller not negotiating much on this well laid out property. There are before and after photos to appreciate the pride of ownership. The upgrades were well thought out. Truly a gem in this established golf course community."

Another two listings, this time for Fairway Villas, boasts: "BRAND NEW COMMUNITY!! Overlooking Via De Paz Golf Course."

If this active community is all about the Golf Course, then why is the City of Phoenix in such a hurry to do away with it? Villa de Paz is in a battle with a ravenous developer to destroy the very thing that makes the community a viable, beautiful, and living wildlife refuge: the Golf Course.

This attack on community stipulations and families only comes when politicians buy into false claims of sustainability. Thanks to the sustainability push, cities are indoctrinated to believe: "We will build mass transit and they will come. If they don't come, well, we'll force the issue." This line of thinking is corrupt and illogical.

ICLEI and the City of Phoenix are terrible bed fellows. If the city has to destroy beauty in order to fit into the sustainability nonsense model, then the city needs to re-think its membership as well as its mission, vision, and goals.

Who wants to live in a city without character or charm and that looks like every other city in the United States? Who wants to defund social programs when the average age of a homeless person in Arizona is seven years and divert that money to "light rail?" It is baseless and stupid.

According to Phoenix Rescue Mission, Phoenix has more to worry about than a supposed volunteer sustainable scam, there are 10 Facts about Homelessness in Arizona politicians need to read before sending away anymore funding to this ruse.

Of course there is a revenue side to this story, but as Resilient Communities points out: "It’s not just forests that are torn down. Arable land for crops is often destroyed as the suburbs stretch further and further from the main city. The new roads burden local government with maintenance costs that create problems within years of building."

The plans and promises may look good to a city in these hard economic times but in the long run, the cities pay the price of up keep long after developers leave with their thirty pieces of silver.

People are tired of the 'smash everyone into small living spaces' philosophy to satisfy false and misleading environmental rhetoric. People are tired of being used as renters and not proprietors of their own property: "Homeowners spend enormous amounts of money on maintenance, HOA fees, and yard work for a home that doesn’t produce anything." Why shouldn't people leave the cities for a better life elsewhere?

The math is very simple. As we drive faster and faster down the road of sustainability, the more and more environment we lose to be sustainable. Sustainability should not be measured in fearmongering CO2 levels that have no basis in fact. Sustainability should be based on water tables, clean air, less traffic, and communion with nature and wildlife.

"Much of what we discuss here is aimed at shifting the balance away from a broken system that often seems hell-bent to destroy every natural resource we cherish. Parks become retail shopping meccas, forests become industrial centers and all the while, we are losing sight of the most sustainable resource we have – the ability to grow food. "

That is what this fight has come down to: shifting the balance away from a broken system that often seems hell-bent on destroying every natural resource we cherish for the false promises of revenue and sustainability.

As a resident of Villa de Paz, I hope that the soul of Phoenix, Arizona can still be saved from the idols and false prophets filling the political checking accounts of the City Council members who took an oath to uphold the Constitution and be a leader amongst people, not sheep leading their communities into an unsustainable nightmare of a wasteland.
