If we want our country back, then we have to stop worrying about fake news like Russian Collusion and focus on the real acts of sedition and treason. We should begin with Bilderberg and move onto other secretive conclaves like Bohemian Grove.

18 U.S. Code § 953 - Private correspondence with foreign governments

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

Topics of Bilderberg come to pass in our economic, social, and political landscape. Nothing discussed is ever not acted upon. Thus the meeting's agenda is tied to our future national and world crises. With the media and political focus on all the Russian hacking and collusion nonsense perhaps the media needs to investigate why it is all right for government officials to meet and discuss our nation with corporate heads and heads of state in any capacity that is not subject to public review? 

It is time for the American media to question the veracity and audacity of our leaders.

An Abrupt Climate Change Scenario and Its 

Implications for United States National Security

Imagining the Unthinkable

The purpose of this report is to imagine the unthinkable – to push the boundaries of current research on climate change so we may better understand the potential implications on United States national security.

We have interviewed leading climate change scientists, conducted additional research, and reviewed several iterations of the scenario with these experts. The scientists support this project, but caution that the scenario depicted is extreme in two fundamental ways. First, they suggest the occurrences we outline would most likely happen in a few regions, rather than on globally. Second, they say the magnitude of the event may be considerably smaller.

We have created a climate change scenario that although not the most likely, is plausible, and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately.

Woe to an Empire of Blood, Nuclear Activists Receive Their Sentences

In the VDP Gazette's article, National Security is a Joke Because There Is Nun, we discussed how Sister Megan Rice, an 83-year-old Catholic nun, with a hammer and some bolt cutters as well as two other aged accomplices broke into a secure nuclear facility called: Y-12 National Security Complex, as known as America's "Fort Knox" of weapons-grade uranium to make a point.

This week their sentences were handed down:  

Federal District Judge Amul R. Thapar sentenced both Greg Boertje-Obed, 58, of Duluth, and Michael Walli, 65, of Washington, DC, to five years and two months in prison (“62 months,” in the parlance of the federal court) plus three years of heavily supervised probation. Sr. Megan Rice, 84, of New York, NY, was sentenced to 35 months in prison plus three years of probation.

The three cohorts will also have to pay a combined total of $52,900 for the cost of repairing the damage they did to the fences and to paint over their slogans.

"Woe to an Empire of Blood."

Sister Megan Rice stated that: "They know that they are the human fallout and the victims of the profiteering by the elite and top leaders of the corporations that are contracted to make the nuclear weapons. It's (the money) denied to human services that should be the priority of any government."

Paul Magno, Rice's friend and an anti-nuclear activist said: "Very frustrating was the fact that the prosecution and the judge worked very hard to avoid paying attention to the (nuclear) weapons factor, the cause of their activism," he said. "And unless our legal institutions will face that, peace activists will continue to take issue with it and invite the government to investigate the war industry."

"Any goverment that would lock up Megan, Michael and Greg is desperate to hide the truth. By their actions, they have broken the silence; their sacrifice challenges each of us to speak up for a safer world," a network of supporters led by Magno and Hutchison, [a supporter of Rice], wrote in a statement.

"The Fruit of Justice is Peace."

"They're supposed to be leaders on something like this. There hasn't been any kind of statement from Catholic bishops on what Megan has done," retired Bishop Thomas Gumbleton, a noted peace activist, told Al Jazeera in an interview in December.

Anyone would expect that the Catholic Church would have sent out a press release either supporting or admonishing the nun's actions. Silence is what Sister Megan Rice received. Perhaps part of the problem of the world is that of an indifferent church to the needs of the people. 

How can there be peace if there is no justice? Did District Court Judge Amul Thapar do his job in creating a fair trial for the defendants or did he make another monkey court of suits on parade?

Ignoring each of the defendant’s direct appeals to the government’s binding legal obligations under the NPT and the Constitution (which holds that treaties are the “Supreme law of the land”) Judge Thapar repeatedly accused the three of showing “complete disrespect for law.”

Judge Thapar’s accusation of “lawlessness” was plainly dishonest and likely designed for the press, especially in view of his pre-trial orders forbidding the defendants from presenting legitimate law-based defenses. The defense of necessity —that unlawful government actions may be interfered with by citizens acting in the spirit of crime prevention —was also disallowed by Judge Thapar, who ruled before trial that the question of whether nuclear weapons production is unlawful was not relevant to the case and would confuse the jury. What the judge did not say was that when juries are allowed to consider evidence of the outlaw status of nuclear weapons, they regularly find protesters not guilty by reason of
justification.

This type of outlandish judicial behavior also shows that National Security isn't about securing anything. It's about the illusion that the United States government has the national security interests of Americans in mind. 

So what is the point? Have you ever wondered why America is the way it is these days? Why judges and lawyers protect this State instead of the People?

There are answers to these questions and no American is going to like what they hear, but it's about time we set aside our differences and embrace the fact that the United States, Inc. is not our country. It's our prison.

We all might as we have committed lawlessness because we are paying a price for it anyway.

The United States government constantly cries wolf: We need more technology, more tyranny, more of your rights for National Security! Secret courts, secret charges, secret laws... does anyone else feel like we are living in the USSR?

While America's air defense system can be taken down by box cutter wielding hijackers in midair with magic, high rises can be destroyed by burnt off jet fuel, the borders have remained open, private planes are left unsecured, nuclear plants are prime targets, and yet, the United States government screams: More Surveillance! More Metadata! More Biometrics! More Illegal Searches and Seizures! More Unconstitutional Laws! More, more, more!!!

How about enough, Enough, ENOUGH!

National Security is not what the government wants. It is the total control of your everyday life. It could care less about illegal aliens from Mexico because NAFTA not only created the economic hardships in Mexico driving people northward, the trade agreement created the North American Union that merges Canada, the United States and Mexico together. Even the USDA promotes illegal immigration via the SNAP program (food stamps). So if you believe for one moment that Congress is going to stop illegal immigration, immigration reform, or amnesty, you have another thing coming, it's called: reality.

You've been sold out. 

Do an online search about how President Eisenhower signed secret deals with Russia to merge our two nations together back in 1958, Louis Freeh (FBI) sign agreements with the KGB (the world’s most notorious terrorist organization) back in 1994 that virtually merged our police with the Soviet police (KGB), President Reagan's deals with Russia merging our two educational systems together in the 1980's... then stand back.

Look at our Culture: Hollywood movies Social Engineer us. Look at our Government. Look at Trade Agreements. Look at our Educational System. Look at Sustainability's Regionalism and the United Nation's heralding Communism. Look at the Police State. 

If you really believe that the transformation of the United States into a Soviet block country is not happening, then how did an elderly Nun break into a secure nuclear facility?

Nestled behind a forested ridgeline on the outskirts of Knoxville, Tennessee, is the sprawling Y-12 National Security Complex, America's "Fort Knox" of weapons-grade uranium. The complex's security cameras and machine gun nests are designed to repel an attack by the world's most feared terrorist organizations, but they were no match for Sister Megan Rice, an 83-year-old Catholic nun armed with nothing more than a hammer and bolt cutters.

In the dark morning hours of July 28, 2012, Rice and two fellow anti-war activists bushwhacked up to the edge of Y-12, cut through three separate security fences, and sprayed peace slogans and human blood (see below) on the wall of a building that is said to hold enough weapons-grade uranium to obliterate human civilization several times over. They remained inside Y-12 for more than an hour before they were detected.

"The security breach," as the Department of Energy's Inspector General later described it, exposed "troubling displays of ineptitude" at what is supposed to be "one of the most secure facilities in the United States." At a February hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, multiple members of Congress thanked Rice for exposing the site's gaping vulnerabilities. But that didn't deter federal prosecutors from throwing the book at Rice and her accomplices: Greg Boertje-Obed, a 57-year-old carpenter, and Michael Walli, a 63-year-old Vietnam veteran. They now sit in Georgia's Irwin County Detention Center, awaiting a January 28 sentencing hearing where a federal judge could put them in prison for up to 30 years.

If you haven't figured it out by now, National Security is for us, the American People. It is not for enemies foreign or domestic. Those enemies the government wants you to be afraid of simply don't exist anymore or never have. 

The enemy the government is afraid of is: YOU.

Isn't it about time you took off your Republican and Democratic hats and began standing up to the government that sold out back in 1913? Isn't it about time we reinstated our Republic? 

Don't our progeny deserve it? Or are reality shows and sports more important?

Remember, if you aren't part of the solution, then you are part of the problem. So what are you going to do about our aggressive National Security agenda?

CitiGroup Writes its Own Law

What's worse than ALEC, where corporations write our laws, bribe our elected officials with a nice weekend conference, and then those same politicians introduce those laws into State legislatures verbatim... including Arizona? 

Megacorporations that caused the recent economic collapse writing legislation to deregulate their deceptive and gambling practices to let another economic collapse happen with derivatives, that's what.

Frank-Dodd protects Americans from bearing the cost of FDIC backed gambling by banks. “After inflicting so much pain and suffering on the American people, now is not the time to let the largest banks back into the casino,” Representative Maxine Waters (D-California) said in a statement. Yet, they are.

The House passed this gutting of Frank-Dodd. 292-122 vote with which 70 Democrats and all but three Republicans granted. So if you ever believed the two party system is really a one party system, here is another clue that you are correct. 

To add insult to injury: "Citigroup was responsible for recommendations made in 70 lines of the 85-line bill, according to Eric Lipton and Ben Protess of The New York Times. In fact, reported the writers, a couple key paragraphs in the bill had been copied word for word from Citigroup’s submitted draft, which it had developed in conjunction with other Wall Street banks."

When will the American people begin to stand against such blatant disregard for the economic impacts of banks swapping, gambling, and doing what they want? CitiGroup had to be bailed out at a tune of $45 billion and the market collapse ruined other companies such as: Countrywide Mortgages, Bear Stearns, AIG, Lehman Brothers, Washington Mutual, Wachovia. 

Too big to fail should become: monopolies that must be broken up for the public good. Instead Congress keeps handing these duplicitous, unprofessional, and unethical monstrosities every advantage at the cost of our National Security. 

This corporate writing of our laws needs to come to an end. These entities are using the People's money to hedge their bets, so the People should be in charge of the till.
