The Case Against Surveillance: The US Government Could Have Stopped 911

When you listen to the excuses of the American government about 911, the apologists say: 911 was an intelligence failure. Some might agree. Some may not. 

In this clip of Edward Snowden on NBC News, Americans discover that in fact the United States government had all the information it needed to stop the course of action that was 911:

Let's put that quote in slow motion, shall we?

"You know this is a key question that the 9/11 commission considered, and what they found in the postmortem when they looked at all the classified intelligence from all the different intelligence agencies, they found that we had all of the information we needed as an intelligence community, as a classified sector, as the national defense of the United States, to detect this plot."

"We actually had records of the phone calls from the United States and out. The CIA knew who these guys were. The problem was not that we weren't collecting information, it wasn't that we didn't have enough dots, it wasn't that we didn't have a haystack, it was that we did not understand the haystack that we had."

Then why does the American government keep using the intelligence failure repeat? Are government officials admitting that their surveillance state failed in the eyes of history? Or are officials placing the blame on something, someone else?

Meet Susan Lindauer. A CIA Asset and go between for U.S.-Iraqi relations. Here is her testimony:

The fact is the United States government has been illegally and unconstitutionally stealing Americans information, data, metadata for over a decade. The American government had several chances to stop the 911 attacks and did not do so.

Why would a government do such a heinous act against its people and the world?

Counter-terrorism and Intelligence expert Richard Clarke, the former US diplomat, recently revealed that the CIA contacted the 9/11 hijackers to recruit them before the attack. In the days following the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden released videos denying involvement in the attacks, but did say he that Allah was punishing the US. This was the beginning of his television propaganda career.

The fact is: it's not one person, but an elite collective that is as responsible for 9/11 as the hijackers themselves. "Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century" is the white paper from the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). The paper outlines that America must: 

* Reposition permanently based forces to Southern Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East;
* Modernize U.S. forces, including enhancing our fighter aircraft, submarine and surface fleet capabilities;
* Develop and deploy a global missile defense system, and develop a strategic dominance of space;
* Control the "International Commons" of cyberspace;
* Increase defense spending to a minimum of 3.8 percent of gross domestic product, up from the 3 percent currently spent.

Which brings us back to the War on Terror. Aaron Russo, a flimmaker and who has since passed from cancer, was befriended by Nicholas Rockefeller for a time. Mr. Russo remembered being told many horrible details from this member of the elite, some of which was:

Nick Rockefeller told Russo about the plan to microchip the population, warned him about 'an event that would allow us to invade Afghanistan and Iraq' some eleven months before 9/11 and foretold the fact that the 'War on Terror' would be a hoax wherein soldiers would be looking in caves for non-existent enemies.

It's order out of chaos... a new world order. First a government creates a problem, waits for the public outcry, and gives the public the solution the government always wanted to give: servitude of the people. Rights are now privileges.

See how easy that was?

Surveillance and a police state aren't the answers to any problems except for how the ruling elite can keep on ruling without the rejection from the public. Keep the public dumbed down. Make sure the public always is a state of fear, or in the case of Hollywood: pleasure and entertainment. Offer the solution to the public for a government-made problem.

Before the public figures out the police state is not a conspiracy theory but a goal, have the gates locked with guards posted so the elite ruling class is safe to rule as overt dictators.
