Ever Wanted To Go To MIT? Well, Now You Can For Free

MIT has several courses from a variety of disciplines available to the public for free.
MIT OpenCourseWare makes the materials used in the teaching of almost all of MIT's subjects available on the Web, free of charge. With more than 2,200 courses available, OCW is delivering on the promise of open sharing of knowledge.

Mars Madness Hits the University of Arizona

A new exhibit has opened in Pima County, “Mars Madness: Sci-Fi, Popular Culture and Ray Bradbury’s Literary Journey to Outer Space” opens on January 21st through August 1st in Special Collections at the University of Arizona.

Two events are planned in conjunction with “Mars Madness.” Both events are free and open to the public and will be held in Special Collections, 1510 E. University Blvd.

Opening Reception with Wolf Forrest, contributor to Orbiting Ray Bradbury’s Mars
Tuesday, January 21
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Book Signing with Gloria McMillan
Saturday, March 15 (during the Tucson Festival of Books)
3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sounds like great fun to anyone who loves science fiction literature.
