Map of the Native American Nations

595 American Indian tribes used to exist in what is now known as the United States of America. Through wars, diseases, tribal consolidation, and general apathy, 150 tribes are classified as extinct with the other remaining tribes secluded on non-historical homelands referred to as Indian Reservations. 

Aaron Carapella, a Cherokee living in Oklahoma, created a map of all the native tribes, in their native language, and where the tribes were originally settled. This map is an extensive and mature culmination of study and research:

“The maps in the books were kind of cheesy, they only had maybe 50 to 100 tribes on them,” he told Tulalip News last year. “I didn’t want to make a map with just tribes’ given names on it. Glitter terrorism, gender indoctrination, big pharma’s Christmas miracle is another episode of Breaking the Set with Abby Martin. 
On this episode of Breaking the Set, Abby Martin remarks on the absurd news that two environmental activists in Oklahoma were charged with staging a terrorism hoax after unveiling two glitter-covered banners in protest of the Devon Energy oil company’s fracking practices.
